Tour of Grounds
Cheekwood Estate and Gardens will be unveiling four exciting new features in Spring 2020: The Chihuly at Cheekwood exhibit, a new Children’s Garden, a renovated Japanese Garden, and redesigns to their Sculpture Trail. These are all in addition to the spring color that comes each year from azaleas, peonies, woodland ephemerals, and more.

Gaylord's Opryland Resort
Gaylord’s Opryland Resort houses a 9-acre indoor garden, complete with waterfalls, streams, and boats. TripAdvisor says, “Boasting 50,000 tropical plants, rare international blooms and romantic Southern species, the horticultural displays at Gaylord Opryland are among the most exquisite in the world. Meticulously selected and lovingly maintained by a staff of 20 full-time interior horticulturists, the landscaping is a colorful, year-round paradise tucked inside this amazing resort.” We will be given a guided tour by their head horticulturist, who will be able to describe the inner workings of maintaining the proper humidity and irrigation for the extensive collection. We are working to secure a block room rate for attendees so we can enjoy either a sponsored reception or a self-funded Connect without driving to another location.
